Activities at the campsite
Let yourself be surprised & participate!

We organize various activities at the campsite. In the early and late season we organize special evenings in our restaurant and of course our famous BBQ.
In the high season ( 12/07 - 23/08) we have an animation program, for young and old, with a minimum of four activities per day. You should think of crafts in the morning, games in the afternoon and sports in the evening.

Every week a band comes to play, for a fun musical evening, where you can hit the dancefloor!

Did you know that this part of the Ardèche is extremely suitable for cyclists and sporty cyclists ?! At the reception there are several beautiful cycling routes for you. L'Ardechois campsite is the perfect base for beautiful and challenging rides!

Canoeing

If you are with us you should definitely go canoeing once. It is an activity that you can do with the whole family, if you have a swimming diploma. You can do this from SLes Ollieres on the l'Eyrieux at Eyrieux sport, or on the Ardeche river itself. But then you have to drive a little further.

Aquarock (climbing park)

Aquarock Aventure is a stone's throw away. A climbing trail above the water & between the rocks. The park has ten courses with two mega long zip lines of 250 & 300 meters. Park is accessible to everyone and a unique experience for young & old.

Canyonning

Jumping, swimming, sliding and all that through the river. It doesn't get more spectacular !!! A truly unforgettable experience, suitable for the whole family, if you have a swimming diploma. The ultimate way to enjoy the rugged nature of the Ardeche in a sporty way! We work together with Canyon Base de Besorgues.

Hiking

Our campsite is in a wonderfully beautiful hiking area. Of course it is in the mountains, so up and down hill. But your effort will be rewarded with the most amazing views! Directly from the campsite are two marked out trips (4 km and 8 km) and many walks in the area can be obtained free of charge at the reception.

Cycling

The sporty cyclist can enjoy themselves with us. Endless journeys are possible, with beautiful "cols" to restrain. It is not without reason that the famous "Ardechoise" 3-day cycling tour is held in this area every year!

For the slightly less sporty cyclist there is the possibility to cycle along the river Eyrieux. This is about an old railroad track and is almost flat. A very nice activity to do with the whole family. Bicycles can then be rented at Eyrieux Sport in Les Ollieres.

Velorail

A little further away (an hour and a half) you can take a special ride on a railroad track. The ride goes through the Gorges du Doux. You go down in a 'go-kart' and you are brought back up again with an old diesel train. An activity that is really worth it! PLEASE NOTE: In the high season we advise you to book at least one week in advance for this activity.Velo rail des Gorges du Doux

Steam train

You can not only admire the Gorges du doux via a go-kart, but there is also a real steam train running here! A must see for the real train enthusiast! Train d'Ardeche

Sightseeing

The campsite is in a really beautiful and special area. It is really worth it to get in the car and drive onto the "plateau". There you will find, among other things, the old volcano "Gerbier du Jonc", a waterfall with volcanic rocks: the "Cascade de Ray Pic" and the highest mountain of the Ardèche: the "Gebier du Jonc". You will be overwhelmed by the beautiful views and unspoilt nature!
